What If – The Essential Questions that could change your life

what-if-your-life-tune-depends-on-you

What if:

you picking things apart, trying to solve problems and always criticising is just your own way of validation?

that situation you’re constantly finding yourself in requires a change of attitude from you?

it’s not the people around you that need to change, but you?

you’re afraid to take the step because you’re not sure if you can stay committed to it?

the anxiety, sleeplessness and depression is all a figment of your own imagination?

you’re actually made to be well, but your mind believed otherwise?

What if:

today is all you need, yesterday and tomorrow aren’t necessary?

you’re to allow tomorrow to sort out itself because it really can?

you decided to enjoy (engage in the joy) the moment?

God’s mercies are new everyday because that’s really all you need?

you decided to forgive today because you feel no resentment towards him or her?

you miss that friend, but it’s pride that constantly keeps you away?

you heard they died last night, would you regret or appreciate?

What if:

life really isn’t as complicated as we make it?

today is extremely important because doing today what needs to be done today lays the foundation for the future?

yesterday really is gone and memories are just that, memories?

you’re holding on to a memory from the past or a hope of the future and fail to see today?

you could take more risks to love, heal, cheer up, be friendly and give life?

What if:

you didn’t really need to chase anything to be worth something?

you took life one step at a time knowing the end is glorious because you trust Jesus?

you just everyday took the new mercies, utilised them and loved more?

that stops the endless worry, fretting and hot temper?

you can actually live life just loving each day because it’s really about your heart and who you’re becoming?

What if:

your perceived reality is just a warped collage of all the supposed realities others sell to you?

reality really is God and what He has to say about and do with you?

success means just being genuinely interested in people and happy when they progress?

it’s fear of poverty that’s leading you to the lengths you’re going?

a truly rich person is one with impact in the lives of others even if he gets no currency remuneration?

your perception of life all along has been wrong?

Life’s choices are yours to make, whether to live or to die. It’s all in your power.

19 I call heaven and earth to record this day against you, that I have set before you life and death, blessing and cursing: therefore choose life, that both thou and thy seed may live. – Deut 30:19 (KJV)

  1. what if we really stopped ourselves and asked these questions everyday
then maybe we can actually live more fulfilled lives….

  2. Undoubtedly, most of these questions are what one needs to ask him/her self in periods of introspection and personal growth. I personally will rehash certain questions that really caught my attention:

    What if:
today is all you need, yesterday and tomorrow aren’t necessary?
    – Why worry about tomorrow? You need all the strength you can for today.

God’s mercies are new everyday because that’s really all you need?
    – Our absolute dependency is on God.

you’re holding on to a memory from the past or a hope of the future and fail to see today?
    – Let go of your past, focus on the now that’s what you have control of.

success means just being genuinely interested in people and happy when they progress?
    – In life, it’s usually the simple things that count 😉

There are various enlightening perspectives to draw from this awesome piece. Thanks!

Just a side note, I don’t seem to find the Authorizing note about Copyscape protecting your content. Are you no longer improvising their technology?

    1. Thanks for your kind words David. Its good to know that some of these questions would prove useful in your personal introspection periods. About the copyscape, it completely escaped me to add it.

What are your thoughts?
